Understanding the EU Settlement Scheme
The EU Settlement Scheme protects the residence rights of EU, EEA, and Swiss nationals and their family members who lived in the UK before 31 December 2020. Status is granted either as pre-settled or settled status.
EUSS applications can be complex where residence has been informal, evidence is limited, or deadlines have been missed. Late applications and refusals require careful legal submissions.
